3DS Ambassador Program kicks off in Europe

Nintendo's begun the 3DS Ambassador Program in Europe, enabling owners who bought the handheld before last month's price-cut to get ten free game downloads.

The free games, from the NES era, on offer are Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr.,The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Metroid, Balloon Fight, Wrecking Crew, Mario & Yoshi, Ice Climber and NES Open Tournament Golf.

To get your free games, you go to eShop, find settings, then scroll down to the bottom of the list of your downloaded games, where you'll find them there waiting for you. This is assuming that you connected to the eShop last month to take part in the offer.

The Ambassador Program was announced by Nintendo as a way to make it up to early adaptors of 3DS after announcing a price-cut last month for the handheld.
