38 Studios sets a tentative release date for its Copernicus MMO

Curt Schilling's 38 Studios, which purchased Big Huge Games back in May, has a target date finally set for its fantasy MMO Copernicus.

According to the Boston Globe, we can expect the game to launch sometime during December 2010.

This is if more funding can be attained for the project, as Schilling estimates it will take between $50 - $100 million to complete the game if it's to contend with the larger MMOs on the market.

Raising money is “a challenge,’’ Schilling told the paper, “but that’s part of the attraction for me," he admitted.
