Kylian Mbappe will grace the cover of FIFA 22

Kylian Mbappe will be the cover athlete for FIFA 22.

EA Sports has announced Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe will grace the cover of FIFA 22.

This will be the second cover for Mbappe, who was also the FIFA 21 cover athlete, making him one of few to earn back-to-back cover star status, alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking of FIFA 22, EA will reveal the first trailer for the game tomorrow, July 11 at 11:30am ET, 4:30pm UK ahead of the Euro 2020 Final.

EA didn't say whether or not more details on the game will be provided alongside the trailer, but we fully expect the game to be made available on both current and new-gen consoles.

The UEFA EURO 2020 kicks off at 8pm UK, and was originally scheduled for July 12, 2020 before the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
