A Plague Tale: Requiem announced, coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S

A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence, was announced today.

In A Plague Tale: Requiem, you will follow Amicia and her brother Hugo on a new quest, as they try to survive an uncaring world as a terrifying curse hunts them down.

Currently in development, not much else was revealed about the title, but it is coming to PC, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Series X/S.  The game will be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass for Consoles, PC and Cloud.

To hold you over until the sequel is released, you can always play A Plague Tale: Innocence and discover Amicia and Hugo’s story as it stands now.

And, if you are a Game Pass subscriber, you can play it for nothing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game sold over one million copies worldwide as of July last year.

It follows protagonist Amicia and her younger brother Hugo as they trek through plague-infested France. During their journey, they will have to contend with rats, the Inquisition, locals, and the British army.

You will meet others on your journey, such as thieves, alchemists, and more who will teach you new skills. They will also provide you with new tools to hide, escape, and even kill.

In it, you are also given a choice when encountering danger: you can engage in combat or bypass a hostile situation using your capabilities and that of your allies. Crafting, the use of alchemy, and other skills are also needed in order to survive.
