Where to pre-order Battlefield 2042 and access the game early

If you can't wait to get your hands on Battlefield 2042 and want to be one of the first to access the closed beta, we've gathered a list of the best places to pre-order the game in the US and UK.

Battlefield 2042 arrives on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 22nd this year. Pre-orders are now live for standard, gold, and unlimited editions of the game from select retailers.

As well as early access to the game's beta, pre-ordering the game will bag you these exclusive pre-order bonuses: the Baku ABC-90 takedown knife, Mr Chompy epic weapon charm, landfall player card background, and an old guard tag.

While the latest instalment in the Battlefield series won't launch with a single-player campaign, Battlefield 2042's multiplayer sounds like its best yet, especially its All-Out-Warfare mode. If you wanna play Battlefield 2042 ahead of its official release date, the Gold Edition of the game gets your early access (to the full Battlefield experience) and a year-one DLC pass (four new specialists, four battle passes, three epic skin bundles). The Gold Edition for consoles includes next-gen upgrades if you purchase on PS4 or Xbox One. You'll get the early pre-order bonuses too.

Some of the retailers we've mentioned above don't have pre-orders for the Gold Edition of Battlefield 2042 live, so we've provided the best places to grab it below. These are digital pre-orders only, not physical.

How to access Battlefield 2042 early

All pre-orders of Battlefield 2042 include early access to the game's closed beta, the date of which is yet to be announced. You'll also get full access to the game a week early ahead of its release on October 22nd.

EA and Dice have also confirmed a playable alpha test for Battlefield 2042 will go live in July. There's no way to sign up for the alpha test – you'll just have to hope that EA sends you an invitation code.
