More companies have been announced for this year's digital E3 event

More companies have signed on for E3 2021.

The ESA has announced more companies will take part in this year's digital-only E3 2021.

These companies are Bandai Namco, Gearbox, SEGA, Square Enix, and Xseed Games (thanks, Polygon).

The companies join previously confirmed Capcom, Microsoft, Nintendo, Take-Two, and Ubisoft -  which is hosting its Ubisoft Forward event as part of the show.

Komani was also set to participate in the show, but due to timing issues, it had to pull out.

"Due to timing, we will not be ready to present at E3 this year,” said the company. “We want to reassure our fans that we are in deep development on a number of key projects, so please stay tuned for some updates in the coming months."

E3 2021 will be streamed free of charge and runs June 12-15.
