The Ratchet & Clank 60fps update is now available on PS5

The Ratchet & Clank PS5 update has rolled out a bit early.

Insomniac Games have released the Ratchet & Clank PS5 update which allows the game to run at 60fps on the console.

The update was slated to be released for the 2016 game in April, with no specific date attached, but Insomniac has pushed it out early.

Speaking of the game, you have until the end of today to download the game completely for free without the need for a PS Plus subscription as part of Sony's Play at Home initiative.

Ratchet & Clank is just one of many games that Sony is giving away free. Starting March 25, Sony handed out Abzu, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica, and The Witness. It is also giving away Astro Bot Rescue Mission and the adorable Moss as well as Thumper and Paper Beast.

Starting April 19, you will be able to download and keep Horizon: Zero Dawn.
