Second Extinction coming to Xbox Game Preview in April

Systemic Reaction has announced that its co-op FPS Second Extinction will release on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Microsoft Store for PC on April 28 via Xbox Game Preview.

It will also be available that day on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Players will be able to experience Second Extinction at 4K/60 FPS on Xbox Series X, as well as on mobile devices via xCloud.

In Second Extinction, a team of up to three players is pitted against swarms of dinosaurs across Earth’s post-apocalyptic wastelands.

You will have a range of weapons at your disposal and can fight alone or with others against the mutated creatures.

The War Effort, Second Extinction’s community-driven metagame, is a part of the game whereby completing missions and activities around the world, you’ll directly impact the threat level of the dinosaurs for other players.

Xbox and Microsoft Store players will have full access to all the content currently available on Steam Early Access, where it first released last fall.

Since its Early Access release, the game has received content updates guided by community feedback, new weapons, challenges, more mutations, War Effort emergence events, gameplay improvements, and more.
