Naraka: Bladepoint open beta debuts soon, so here's some gameplay

Between April 23 and 25, people from around the world will be able to check out the title.

An open beta for the upcoming multiplayer combat title Naraka: Bladepoint is being rolled out shortly.

In a news post on Steam, Chinese developer 24 Entertainment revealed that folks from around the world will be able to try out the 60-player sword combat battle royale romp between April 23 and 25. This comes in the wake of closed betas in both North America and Japan.

The news was revealed yesterday alongside a brand new gameplay trailer (above) for the flashy title at the Future Game Show Spring Showcase.

"Naraka: Bladepoint is an exciting new take on the action royale genre: with player experience built around three core pillars of gameplay; speed, agility and close-quarters combat," developer 24 said in a post on Steam.

"To facilitate this, players use grappling hooks to traverse trees, buildings and all manner of temples and structures littered across Morus’ stunning environment. Coupled with some crazy parkour skills, players can quickly scale anything in sight, offering huge variations in strategy — not to mention tactical verticality — to each pulsating battle."

Naraka: Bladepoint was revealed in December 2019 at The Game Awards with a 2020 release date. Clearly the project didn't hit this launch window, but it is currently on track to come out this summer on PC.
