Stellaris optimizations arrive for new-gen consoles alongside Lithoids Species Pack

Paradox Interactive has released a new species pack for Stellaris: Console Edition alongside the 2.6 Verne update for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S users.

Today's update specifically optimizes Stellaris: Console Edition for Xbox Series X/S hardware. You can expect higher frame rates, faster simulation speed, and lower load times along with supporting the Smart Delivery feature.

Also avaiable today is the Lithoids Species Pack for console, which introduces new empire mechanics as well as rock-based species portraits and ship models and a new voice pack.

On all platforms, the Lithoids Species Pack introduces the Lithoids, a species type made entirely of sapient rock who eat minerals for sustenance, are long-lived, and can colonize in almost any environment.

Next on the docket will be the sci-fi strategy game's upcoming expansion, Nemesis which is coming to PC on April 15.
