Wild Rift's open beta lands in the Americas on March 29

Residents of North and South America will be able to participate in the beta.

Riot Games has announced the open beta for League of Legends: Wild Rift on mobile. The open beta will go live on March 29.

While currently playable in other parts of the world, this will be the first time it will be made available in North and South America. You can expect to grab the beta off the App Store and Google Play.

Riot said players of the game can expect regular events, ARAM mode, two new characters per month, and ranked seasons.

Announced in October 2020, the game is not a port of League of Legends on PC, but a new game built from scratch to ensure “it is a polished, legitimate LoL experience.”

Matches in Wild Rift are also designed to be shorter than a standard desktop game in LoL and will last around 15 to 18 minutes.

The game is also coming to consoles.
