Deathloop continues to look slick and stylish in new Bond-inspired trailer

During today's PlayStation State of Play livestream, Bethesda and Arkane Studios pushed out a new trailer for Deathloop.

Arkane Studio’s mind-bending shooter Deathloop has been on many people's radar since it debuted at E3 in 2019, and since then it's only gotten more impressive.

As we've seen in trailers before, two assassins preparing to take each other on at the start of the new cinematic clip – before a mysterious DJ starts spinning a track wantonly inspired by classic James Bond themes. It's spellbinding. Take a look for yourself below.

Look closely and you'll be able to pick out some interesting bits and pieces from the trailer, including a more varied look than we've seen before at Blackreef (that's the island you're playing on) and some new enemy types, too.

Bethesda has now officially announced that Deathloop will arrive May 21 on PC and PS5. The game is available in standard ($60/£60), and Deluxe Edition ($80/£80). You can pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store for PS5,

Deathloop is expected to be a timed console exclusive for the PS5 (despite Microsoft’s aqusition of publisher Zenimax Media) and there's no news about it coming to other platforms yet.
