Watch the BlizzConline 2021 opening ceremony here

BlizzCon takes place entirely online this year, and you can watch the opening ceremony right here along with us.

During the BlizzConline 2021 opening ceremony, we fully expect to hear more about Diablo 4, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch 2, and Diablo: Immortal.

It all kicks off at 10pm GMT/2pm PT/5pm ET today.

Blizzard has teased the reveal of a new class for Diablo 4, so we're looking forward to hearing all about it. As far as Diablo Immortal is concerned, rumor has it the studio will reveal a release date for the mobile title which recently received a limited alpha. We might even hear about the Diablo 2 remake which has been rumored since last spring. It's also rumored that Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 developer Vicarious Visions has been working on the remake of Diablo 2, which is said to carry the subtitle Resurrected.

Of course, we can probably also expect news on a Hearthstone expansion or at least more news on Classic Format. This new format will replicate your entire collection of Basic, Classic, and original Hall of Fame cards in a cordoned-off portion of the game that will mimic the balance changes of the June 2014 version of the game. Basically, it gives you the option to go more old-school if you prefer it that way.

BlizzCon wouldn't be complete without some World of Warcraft news, but this was spoiled for everyone yesterday when World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic leaked. Burning Crusade was the first expansion for the MMORPG and was released in 2007 and became the fastest-selling PC game at that point. News on Shadowlands patch 9.1, Chains of Domination also leaked ahead of the show.

Shadowlands, according to Activision-Blizzard, sold more units on the first day of launch than any other PC game in history. Of course, the game was dethroned by Cyberpunk 2077 upon its release.

We'll hear more about the Blizzard Arcade Collection as well, surely, which leaked this morning. According to a PEGI listing, the collection includes the first Lost Vikings, Rock & Roll Racing, and Blackthorne. So far it is only listed for PC, but news on that could change during the opening ceremony.

Overwatch 2 will be on hand, as promised last year. The Overwatch team confirmed at the time it would provide more information on the upcoming sequel to 2016’s hero shooter at the annual conference. What the studio will reveal remains to be seen, so we'll just have to watch the show to find out.

Again, the show starts at 10pm GMT/2pm PT/5pm ET , so be sure and hang out with us.
