A Fortnite x Fall Guys crossover may be coming soon

A line of data in the most recent Fall Guys update suggests that the game show-inspired battle royale will get its very own Fortnite crossover.

Fall Guys is no stranger to collaborations: the developers at Mediatonic have managed to fold a slew of other brands into the title since it launched in 2019, including Godzilla, Sonic the Hedgehog, Goose Game and more.

The next crossover, though, seems to be looking at another stablemate in the battle royale genre: Fortnite.

As per popular dataminer and oft-correct leaker, FNLeaksAndInfo on Twitter, a new string of code from the latest Fall Guys build hints at a few key Fortnite characters coming to the Mediatonic game.

The new update added five strings that all explicitly reference Fortnite and reference various characters from Epic’s battle royale that have all – at one time or another – been something of an icon in the game.

Peely, Llama, and Cuddle Team Leader, Bunny Brawler and Ripley all appear, suggesting we may get costumes related to each in the coming season(s) of Fall Guys.

Whether or not we’ll see the game arrive on more platforms in the future remains to be seen.

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Mediatonic have posted no news about Fall Guys arriving on other platforms themselves, despite some confusion about whether the game was due to launch on Xbox Game Pass back in January.
