Ghost Recon Breakpoint is free to play this weekend

Ubisoft is once again offering everyone a chance to experience Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and you can trial the game entirely for free from January 21 to January 25.

Ubisoft has announced that 2019's Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be free to play from today, and you'll be able to sample the full game on your platform of choice (PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with next-gen consoles also included thanks to backwards compatibility).

The free weekend requires PlayStation Plus on PS4 and Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One thanks to the game's status as a mostly online game. As is now standard of these types of promotions, all of the game’s content is available for players to experience during the free weekend, with progress carrying over to the full game should you buy it. The game is also on sale for up to 85% off.

Here's a rundown of when the game is available on various platforms:

PC - Ubisoft Connect: Server opens January 21 at 00:01 PST. Server closes January 25 at 09:01 PST. Pre-load starts January 19 at 09:01 PST.

PC - Epic: Server opens January 21 at 07:01 PST. Server closes January 25 at 09:01 PST. Pre-load starts January 19 at 09:01 PST.
