More job openings hint at Sucker Punch working on Ghost of Tsushima sequel

The developer is still staffing up for its next project.

Sony's Sucker Punch studio is once again hiring for what might be a new Ghost of Tsushima game.

In a job ad on its site, the developer is looking for a new combat designer, with one of the requirements of the role being candidates must have "played Ghost of Tsushima and understand its core combat systems."

This follows job ads posted in October of last year that hinted at Sucker Punch starting work on a new project, possibly a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.

As of November 2020, the game had sold more than 5 million copies since its launch in July of that year. This followed the game shifting 2.4 million units within three days on release, while NPD reported that the game was the US' best-selling title of the month when it came out.

On release, we described Ghost of Tsushima as "a gorgeous world stuffed with repetitive filler" in our review.

In October 2020, Sony released the free Legends update for the game.
