Players use #Cyberbug2077 hashtag to share Cyberpunk 2077 bugs

With bugs come memes. And then there's Twitter trends.

With all the overwhelming swarm of bugs - both game-breaking and hilarious - the hashtag #Cyberbug2077 has been trending on Twitter, which players are using to share their glitches and grievances with Cyberpunk 2077.

This is mostly a mix of known bugs and glitches previously reported in the CD Projekt Red's open-world sci-fi RPG - which include textures not loading, models and objects clipping through the environments, and falling through the level.

Some people are simply sharing the same clips and memes, while others are using the hashtag to vent their frustrations at CD Projekt Red for rushing out an unfinished game, calling it a "scam" and "fraud".

At the same time, fans have also taken to the hashtag to defend the current state of the game, claiming they hadn't encountered any of the reported issues, before passing the blame onto people for not upgrading their hardware. Of course, when it comes to the console versions, if Cyberpunk couldn't run on seven-year-old hardware, one would rightly argue that they had no business releasing it for those platforms in the first place.

One Twitter user however claimed that despite having a high spec PC with SSD, updated with all the latest patches and drivers, their game still faced slowdown and stuttering audio before crashing again.

There was at least some variety to the glitch that saw characters' clothing disappearing, which at least adds some balance to embarrassing body parts. On top of V's dick poking out through their trousers, another player found that their breasts were popping through their clothing - and not in that intentional porn star fashion.

Despite all these bugs, it hasn't prevented Cyberpunk from smashing records as the fastest-selling PC game of all time. While the worst performance issues may lead to the game scoring worse on console, CD Projekt Red has also said its team will be receiving their bonuses in full regardless how it reviews.

For those still looking to get into Cyberpunk for themselves, find out which life path you should choose to begin your story in Night City.
