Marvel’s Avengers Kate Bishop DLC dated for early December

The latest Marvel’s Avengers War Table video gives us more information about what we can expect from the game's first DLC character: Kate Bishop.

Kate Bishop, who trained under the bow-wielding hero Hawkeye in Square Enix's version of the Marvel universe, will debut in Operation Taking AIM – a new story that continues on directly from the end of the main game.

The Operation, and Kate Bishop herself, will arrive in the game on December 8. You can check out the War Table presentation and the Kate Bishop deep dive below.

Hawkeye is voiced by Ashly Burch, who you may recognize from such roles as Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn, Tiny Tina in Borderlands, and Chloe Price in Life Is Strange, among others.

Kate Bishop primarily wields a bow and arrow but has her own distinct abilities compared to Clint. In particular, she can pull out a sword for close combat and uses repurposed AIM tech to teleport around the place, and double-jump, too.

Once you power up your Ultimate, you will be able to rain hell on your enemies with Quantum Overdrive – a trick that provides unlimited energy to power your bow with unstable Quantum energy.

If you want the original Hawkeye in your squad, fret not: he's coming too. Eventually. The OG Hawkeye will arrive in the game with the Operation Future Imperfect arc that'll likely arrive in the new year.

Recently, a datamine suggested the likes of Black Panther, War Machine, and more will be coming to Marvel’s Avengers soon. Maybe they'll arrive before Marvel’s Avengers lands on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Though, last month the studio delayed both the game’s release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X machines, so that remains to be seen.
