Everyone loves a good Nintendo game. The trouble is, Nintendo knows this all too well and prices its titles accordingly. If you’ve been waiting to dive headfirst into the colourful ocean of Nintendo gaming, but have been put off up to now by painful price tags, then good news! Some hefty Black Friday discounts are here, and way ahead of schedule too.

Eight Nintendo games in all, each one previously selling for $60, have been slashed by either $20 or $25 at Best Buy and Amazon US.

So what can you get for your hard-earned cash?

Well for $39.99, there’s Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Maker 2.

Then, at $34.99, with an extra five-dollar saving, there’s New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Mario Tennis Aces and Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Free shipping is also available, but (cunningly) only on the more expensive three out of the eight games.

That’s a pretty good mix of genres, encompassing platforming, strategy, shooter and sports. Whatever your tastes, there should be something here you’d be interested in saving money on, provided of course you’ve got a Switch!

If you’ve somehow read this far and don’t yet have a Switch, or you’re looking for more savings on everything from Joy-Cons to games, our Nintendo Switch Black Friday page has all the best deals available right now for you to peruse.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
