Dinosaur blasting game Second Extinction now available through Steam Early Access

Second Extinction is now available in Early Access.

Steam users can play dinosaur blasting game Second Extinction now that it has gone into Early Access.

Developed by Systemic Reaction, in the game, you will work as a team to take down large groups of mutated dinosaurs. Expect plenty of bullets, bombs, teeth, claws, and gore, according to the studio.

The game also features what's called the War Effort, where threat levels go from one to three and once you take dinosaurs down in one area, the next area will feature a higher threat. Threat Level 1 can be done in solo mode, while Threat Level 3 is recommended for a team of three.

The threat level will adjust each week and is something that will be looked into during Early Access.

Alongside PC, the game is also coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

The game is without a release date.
