Limited edition Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch is back in stock at more stores

The special island-themed Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch console is on sale once again at a number of retailers in the US.

After quickly being all bought up around the time of the game's release, Amazon, Gamestop and Best Buy all have the limited edition Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch console back on sale. It was initially available back in January.

It features special blue and green Joy-Cons and an image of the Nook family proudly standing on the dock. The standard version does not include a copy of Animal Crossing New Horizons, but GameStop is offering a couple of bundles with a download code for the game thrown in. That way, you can ensure that your devotion to Animal Crossing doesn't just end there.

Not only that, but Nintendo America has announced the full series of Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards are also making a comeback this November at select retailers. They’ve been extremely hard to find following the launch of the game, with many eBay stores selling them for extortionate prices. You can view the full list of compatible cards on the official Nintendo website.

Amiibo cards function similarly to regular amiibo, and specifically can be used with Animal Crossing: New Horizons to summon the associated characters to your islands, among other things. The cards are actually sold in random packs of six, similar to other trading cards, meaning you won't be sure which new friends you've collected until you open your pack. However, with about four hundred to collect, you can be assured that you probably won't get the same one twice.

While the Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch is currently available from Gamestop, more retailers should be getting stock in the coming days so keep eye on this page for the latest updates. Also, you can head to Jelly Deals to find out where to get every Animal Crossing amiibo and amiibo card around!
