Call of Duty Warzone crashing after Season 6 update

Call of Duty Warzone is crashing on PC, PS4 and Xbox One following the introduction of its big Season 6 update.

Activision has said its looking into the problem after numerous angry reports from players, but there doesn't seem to be a fix or update from the publisher almost 24 hours after the latest update went live.

"We're actively investigating an issue where some players are experiencing crashes after the update in #ModernWarfare and #Warzone. Stay tuned for updates," said Activision Support.

The particular error has been cropping up for players for months and has affected other season updates. Infinity Ward's open Trello board, which players can keep an eye on for updates on work to the game, lists the same error code as a problem as far back as January this year.

The Season 6 update went live yesterday and introduces two new operators, Farah and Nikolai, as well as the fast travel subway system, alongside a bunch of updates and bug fixes.
