Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will release on December 11

During Facebook Connect today, a release date was announced for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.

You will be able to pick up virtual reality title Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond on December 11.

The Respawn Entertainment title will be available on the Rift Platform and on Quest via Oculus Link. It will release simultaneously on the Oculus Store and on Steam with full SteamVR and cross-play support.

Set during World War 2 it features a single-player campaign that encompasses air, land, and sea where the goal is to sabotage Nazi bases as an agent of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in Europe.

There will be three acts in the campaign, and you get to see everything from your perspective. There are no cutscenes, as everything revolves around your first-person view.

You will also subvert enemy plans, aid the French Resistance, and more. You can also expect a multiplayer component.
