PlayStation France adds four new private trailers to PS5 playlist

PlayStation France recently added four new private videos to the official PS5 trailers playlist on YouTube.

The news comes from ResetEra, where one particularly eagle-eyed poster recently spotted this quartet of sneaky uploads. One of the four videos has since been revealed as the French version of the Godfall Hinterclaw trailer, which debuted on the official PlayStation YouTube channel earlier this week.

You can check out the English version of the most recent Godfall trailer in the video embedded below.

As it stands, the remaining three videos are still listed as private and could be anything. Given that they're in the PS5 playlist though, it's pretty safe to assume that they're probably more trailers due to be unveiled in the near future. What we don't know is whether or not they're short clips of already revealed games - like the Godfall Hinterclaw video - or brand new announcements.

Personally, I'm still hoping for that rumored Bloodborne remaster.

In related news, the PS5 is due to launch in mid-November, approximately one week after the Xbox Series X. Apparently, Sony is already sending out invites to pre-order the PS5 several months ahead of its intended release date.

Sony is also aiming to increase its presence on PC platforms after the successes of Death Stranding and Horizon: Zero Dawn on Steam. If the Bloodborne remaster I was on about earlier doesn't end up materializing, I'd still be pretty satisfied with confirmation of a PC port.

If you want to see what the PS5 is capable of, check out this brand new Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart gameplay trailer from Gamescom 2020. Apparently the eponymous rifts were only made possible due to the power of the PS5's SSD, which really allowed Insomniac to get into the complex teleportation territory that's become totally endemic to the whole game.
