Nintendo Direct Mini showed off 12 games coming to Switch

Nintendo hosted a Nintendo Direct Mini this morning, providing a look at more third-party titles coming to Switch.

The Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase gave a look at 12 games coming to Switch.

During the presentation, Just Dance 2021 was shown off. It will contain 40 new tracks, and co-op mode when it releases on November 12.

We were also given a look at the free-to-play online multiplayer title World of Tanks Blitz. In it, you will pilot more than 350 unique combat vehicles such as historically accurate vehicles, experimental tanks based on blueprints of famous engineers, armored monsters from popular alternative universes, and more. World of Tanks Blitz is available now for Nintendo Switch. New players who log in before September 9 can collect a gift from the in-game shop that includes a T2 Medium tank, three days of premium account access, 1,000 gold (in-game currency), and an exclusive avatar.

Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory was also shown, and it is coming to Switch later this year. The Square Enix title is a rhythm-action game that is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year. Kingdom Hearts characters will be playable, and “depending on the stage,” Disney characters will appear as guests and “lend you their strength.” The game will also feature over 140 songs with music from Disney, the Kingdom Hearts series, and “more.”

It will feature a variety of modes including Memory Drive, which involves matching past scenes from memory, and Boss Battle, in which players square off against bosses with special attacks. Clearing stages rewards you s with cinematics and musical scores allowing you to relive "memorable scenes". Local and online multiplayer battle modes are supported and exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game is a mode called Free-for-all. It features local multiplayer action for up to eight players. Plus, players can also experience a chapter of Kingdom Hearts from Kairi’s perspective.

Nintendo also showed off Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. The puzzle games reunite in a new entry that includes all of the modes from the original game, including Versus mode, which lets players play Puyo Puyo against Tetris. There's also Party Mode with special items and challenges. The new Skill Battle mode introduces character-based skills and item cards that can be equipped to power up the team. There's also Adventure mode which includes a new story. You can also expect an expanded Online Mode, the ability to spectate matches where up to four players compete against each other in worldwide battles. The game releases for Switch on December 8.

Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhymic Adventure Pack was also announced, which is two games from the Taiko no Tatsujin series being made available in one collection. You will be time-traveling into the future to save the world from strange incidents. Face off against enemies in rhythmic battles by chaining combos with taiko drums, recruit monsters to become allies, and just a rhythm mode is also available. There will be 130 songs including new tunes. It releases for Switch this winter.

Fight as Rocky Balboa, Adonis Creed, and Viktor Drago when Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions comes to Switch in spring 2021. Shown during the Direct Mini, in it you will "rise through the ranks" in this boxing game through story-driven interactions and matches. During the game, you will participate in "classic Rocky training montages," and fight as Rocky and other fighting legends from the Rocky franchise in Freeplay Mode. Local multiplayer will also be available.

 

Jump Force – Deluxe Edition was also announced as coming to Switch this Friday and it will feature a roster of 50 manga heroes from One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, and more. Expect online modes and a local tag team mode exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version. This edition includes Characters Pass 1.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will finally release for Switch and PS4 tomorrow, August 27. The remastered version of the co-op action RPG. According to the stream, you can expect new high-level dungeons and weapons, updated graphics, and much more. You can also eam up online others in a party matchmaking system to battle foes and discover new adventures.

Collection of SaGA Final Fantasy Legend, originally released on the Game Boy system, is coming to Switch on December 15. The first three titles in the SaGa series will be available in one collection. Fight monsters, customize your characters, explore towns, dungeons, and more and also participate in a high-speed and enjoy other "helpful features" which have been added.

It was announced that on Friday, August 28, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will be released for Switch. Along with participating in soccer matches, you can customize characters, build a dream team, and compete in online and local play.

Minecraft Dungeons DLC Creeping Winter was announced for release this September. As with other platforms, the full version of the game is required to use DLC which will be sold separately.

Fuser, from Harmonix, the creators of Rock Band, is a "non-stop digital music festival: in which players control the music. Here, you will combine elements of songs from popular artists to create mixes or partner with friends on collaborations. Fuser release for Switch this fall.
