Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a sequel to the original Back Ops, according to a leaked description.
This week’s Warzone and Modern Warfare patch apparently also included a treasure trove of details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The official blurb confirms that Cold War takes place in the early 1980s, after the events of the original Black Ops, with series characters Woods, Mason and Hudson all returning. They will be joined by a new cast of heroes, all on the trail of a spy named Perseus. The journey will take them to East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey and KGB HQ.
Beyond these campaign details, the leak also confirms the return of Zombies, and the “next generation” of multiplayer – all using Cold War-era weaponry.
