Minecraft Dungeons DLC Creeping Winter will be released September 8

The Creeping Winter DLC will be released for Minecraft Dungeons on September 8 alongside a free update.

Creeping Winter is the second DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, following Jungle Awakens which was released in July.

Available on September 8, the content will bring a winter storm to the game alongside new missions and enemies.

You can also expect new armor, weapons, and artifacts.

For those of you who already bought the Hero Edition, all is included. Speaking of which, on the same day Creeping Winter releases, the Hero Edition of Minecraft Dungeons will be available in physical format for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

A free update will be released alongside the DLC and physical editions.  It will include new merchants and Daily Trials.

Here, you will save captured Merchants who will, upon saving, set up shop in your camp. These include the Blacksmith who will upgrade items for you, and also the Gift Wrapper who allows you to trade with others in multiplayer. Merchants can also be leveled up for additional items.

Daily Trials will change up the gameplay mechanics providing "difficult, experimental, or fun challenges" for you to participate in.

If you are just picking the game up, and need a head start, here’s a guide on the best weapons. It shows you how to get legendary Unique Weapons and Items, and here’s one on choosing the best enchantments to choose for your gear.
