Ghost of Tsushima is PS4's fastest-selling first-party original IP debut with 2.4 million sold

Sony is rather pleased with Ghost of Tsushima.

Today, Sony announced that Ghost of Tsushima is PS4's fastest-selling, first-party original IP debut.

Within three days of availability, it sold over 2.4 million units sold globally.

The game has seen stock shortages in Japan with Sony suggesting folks purchase it digitally until more stock can arrive at retail.

It was also the best-selling game last week in the region with 212,915 sold in three days.

Sucker Punch's latest was released on July 17.
