Assassin's Creed Odyssey is getting a Valhalla-themed armour set

Assassin's Creed Odyssey players will soon be able to pretend they're playing Valhalla with this new armour set.

Ubisoft is rolling out a new update today for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The patch, version 1.5.4, is between 3 and 4GB, with only a short list of fixes.

But that won't be the end of new content for Odyssey, as Ubisoft revealed the new Northern Traveler’s Set. This armour set is very reminiscent of the Viking getup seen in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It also comes with an adorned two-handed axe, as seen in Valhalla's gameplay. Though the developer didn't outright spell it, the reference is clear.

It's likely the new item pack will be available in the in-game store, meaning it will cost you real money to obtain. Unless, of course, Ubisoft decides to make it a reward for a quest or offer an alternate way for players to get it without spending money. More details on the Northern Traveler’s Set will be revealed soon.

As for today's patch, it fixes a couple of miscellaneous problems, chiefly a bug that caused Cyclops quests to not show up for some players after patch 1.5.3. Read on below for all the patch notes.

  • Addressed an issue where Cyclops quests weren’t available to some players after Title Update 1.5.3.
  • Addressed an issue with the audio output of some of the crowd stations.
  • Addressed an issue where a placeholder pop-up could appear upon unlocking Ezio’s Roman outfit.
