Borderlands 3: How to start the Bounty of Blood DLC - PS4 bug fix

Another Borderlands 3 DLC, another circuitous download. The latest Borderlands 3 DLC Bounty of Blood is supposed to be available to all players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, now.

But like the last few DLC releases, many would-be Vault Hunters have been left wondering how to get started - here's what to do.

How to start the Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood DLC

To begin any Borderlands 3 DLC, you first need to have the base game updated to its latest version - so make sure you're up-to-date there.

Next, the DLC packs can either be bought standalone, or as part of the season pass, which means they have their own entries in your console or PC's storefront.

To start the DLC, you'll need to head into that store - be that the PSN Store, Microsoft Store, etc - and search for the DLC's entry.

The easiest way to do this is by searching for Borderlands 3, then navigating to the "Add-ons" section to find the new listing for Bounty of Blood.

From there you'll be able to install the new quests. Once that's done, drop into your saved game and head to the Sanctuary 3. The Bounty of Blood quest marker is found at the tail-end of the ship, near where you warp in, next to the Quick-change and Lost Loot machines.

Bounty of Blood listing not appearing on PS4 even with Season Pass

Some players, including me, have reported not being able to find the listing on the PSN store - even when going through the in-game prompts to download the Bounty of Blood DLC.

A fix I've found for this, is to open up a laptop, PC, or smartphone and head to the browser-based online PSN Store (linked).

Here you should be able to find the Bounty of Blood listing and purchase it if you need to.

If you own the Borderlands 3 Season Pass, make sure you're signed into your account and the listing should automatically change to "Free".

Add the DLC to your basket, checkout, then click the "Download List" link. Here you can click "Download to your PS4" and Bounty of Blood should finally show up.

In the meantime, how about finishing off some other Borderlands 3 bits and pieces like the recently added Science Arcade, or complete your collection of Eldritch Statues for Mancubus.
