Activision "evaluating additional platforms" for Crash Bandicoot 4

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is only coming to PS4 and Xbox One for the time being, but that could possibly change down the road.

Activision has said it is currently “evaluating” additional platforms for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

In a statement to PCgamesN, a company spokesperson said the company is “still evaluating additional platforms for a future date,” and to stay tuned for more information at a future date.

At present, the game has only been announced for PS4 and Xbox One, and hopefully after things are evaluated, PC and Switch users won’t be left out.

As PCgamesN notes, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy originally released as a PS4 timed-exclusive, and came to PC, Switch, and Xbox One a year later.

It was the same with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy which was released for PS4 and Xbox One first, before arriving on PC and Switch the following year.

This is the first new Crash game in over 10 years. In the game, players will take on the role of Crash or Coco along with new playable characters, including Neo Cortex which will “provide an alternative perspective” on the story. The goal is to unite the Quantum Masks which will restore order to the multiverse.

You'll be able to pick up the Toys for Bob-developed title on October 2.
