Amplitude Studios has announced a new release window for its new 4X strategy title, Humankind.

Announced at gamescom 2019, Humankind hs been delayed to 2021.

Amplitude wants fans to help finetune the game through limited preview builds via its Open Dev option. It is discussed more in the video below, but you can also sign up here as well as find out more information. When you do, you will be able to access three time-limited scenarios.

The game features an avatar system that allows you to create your own avatar as you journey through time to see how your civilization will evolve from pre-history onwards.

In the game, your avatar will evolve visually according to the way you play, the achievements you earn, and the way you develop your cultures and your civilizations. Leveling up your leader through the progression system will allow you to unlock custom looks and more that you can show off in multiplayer matches with up to eight players.

To find out more about the game, you should give Alex’s preview of the title a read.
