No Man's Sky cross-platform multiplayer support coming June 11

No Man's Sky will soon support cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Starting tomorrow, June 11, No Man's Sky players will be able to play the game with others on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

This will allow players on the aforementioned platforms to trade, explore, journey, build together, and more thanks to cross-platform multiplayer.

"A tremendous amount of work has gone into this update and the underlying technology and systems," reads the notice. "We’ve moved to an entirely new networking architecture, with more flexibility for the future, allowing players to play together regardless of platform.

"Making No Man’s Sky available to vast new audiences, and allowing those audiences to come together, has been something we’ve been building towards for a long time. We’re lucky to have one of the nicest and most welcoming gaming communities there is, and it’s a delight to be able to allow them to play together."

The game also arrives on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow for Windows 10 and Xbox One.
