Rainbow Six Siege Season 3 and 4 operators leaked

The new operators in Rainbow Six Siege's Year 5 have leaked.

The two remaining seasons in Year 5 of Rainbow Six Siege will each introduce a single new operator, for a total of six for the entire year.

Season 2 only recently launched, which leaves out Seasons 3 and 4. Now, according to various leaks, we may have our first look at the two new arrivals. Our first hint of this came by way of noted leaker Kormora, who said the S3 operator would be crossing over from another Ubisoft series.

According to Kormora, the S3 operator's gadget will be "some sort of drilled camera that sees through walls." Fast forward to this week, and Reddit user PapaCapinya has found a video showing gameplay of both the Season 3 and 4 operators. The original video is fairly long, but has horrendous image quality and obnoxious backing music. It was uploaded by Gamer Felonies, itself a channel with a bit of a Siege leaks history.

Season 3's attacker is from the Splinter Cell universe, and his codename is Scout. His gadget is fired through a launcher, and it is indeed a camera that drills into walls. Scout is able to tap into the camera feed through a tool that looks similar to Sam Fisher's tri-NVG head-mounted device. PapaCapinya reckons his main weapon is the SC3000X, a version of Fisher's iconic SC3000 assault rifle.

Scout's default look was actually datamined last month, but players at the time thought it was an elite skin for an existing character.

Now onto the Season 4 defender, whose name is Aruni. Aruni's gadget is referred to in-game as a Laser Reinforcement, but the video doesn't actually show it in action. She has access to four and they can be placed on doorways and windows. More interestingly, Aruni appears to have a passive called a Turbo Punch that, thanks to her prosthetic arm, lets her punch holes through non-reinforced walls.

Aruni's arsenal doesn't include new weapons, which has been a running theme for new Siege operators for a while - Scout appears to be the exception. It's worth keeping in that some of these specifics could change between now and launch, so do take everything with a pinch of salt.
