Ghost Recon Breakpoint is finally getting AI teammates next month

Ghost Recon Breakpoint's upcoming July update will bring a feature fans have been asking for since launch.

AI teammates, a feature Ghost Recon Breakpoint fans were disappointed to see Ubisoft ignore at the launch of the game, is finally going to arrive.

Ubisoft promised to begin work on it shortly after launch, once it became clear that the game's new RPG-focused, more social direction wasn't a hit with players. However, the developer couldn't provide a solid date, delaying and delaying it until recently confirming a summer release target.

Now, the developer is confident it will arrive with the game's title update 2.1.0, due for release mid-July. In a blog post, the developer said that due to the disruption caused by coronavirus, title update 2.0.5 will be rolled into 2.1.0.

On top of the aforementioned AI teammates, 2.1.0 will also bring a new Gunsmith updates, new quality of life changes, as well as fixes for PvP and PvE (including the DMR exploit).
