Did you spot this neat Hotline Miami Easter egg in The Last of Us: Part 2's gameplay?

Amidst all the violence and chaos in The Last of Us: Part 2's gameplay demo, Naughty Found the time to tuck in a cute Hotline Miami Easter egg.

Last night's big State of Play livestream brought us plenty of new The Last of Us: Part 2 gameplay and details, but one neat touch may have gone unnoticed.

Everyone is talking about the PS Vita the NPC was holding when Ellie snuck up on her, but did you see she was playing Hotline Miami? Though we never actually see the screen in any real detail, the music blaring out of the handheld's speakers should immediately be familiar to Hotline Miami fans. That's because it's MOON's Hydrogen, the song most commonly associated with the first Hotline Miami.

This got Hotline Miami's official Twitter to tweet out the news that the game is indeed available on PS Vita.

The Last of Us: Part 2 is out June 19.
