Naughty Dog will be showing off new gameplay footage from The Last of Us: Part 2 this Wednesday.

Scheduled to air on May 27 at 1pm PST on Twitch and YouTube, this week’s episode of State of Play promises a “special preview” featuring The Last of Us: Part 2 director Neil Druckmann as he walks through details of the gameplay experience and story.

“The current cut is clocking in a little more than 20 minutes,” reads a post on the PlayStation Blog, “ending with an extended sequence showing off about eight minutes of never-before-seen gameplay.

But don’t expect any PS5 news or updates, as it’ll just be a deep-dive into the world of the game.

Naughty Dog discusses some of the game’s new mechanics for the first time last week, introducing dodge, jump, and prone as means to survive in The Last of Us: Part 2. If you missed it, you can watch it at the link.

The Last of Us Part 2 has already gone gold and is ready for launch on June 19. Despite big story details leaking a couple of weeks back, The Last of Us Part 2 is an Amazon best-seller worldwide.
