Small World of Warcraft is a board game with a cute take on Warcraft

The creator of Small World has teamed up with Blizzard to build a World of Warcraft version of its board game.

Small World of Warcraft is a new board game based on Days of Wonder's Small World mechanics. The game lets you pick between Horde and Alliance, use their special powers and fight for control over Azeroth.

One interesting mechanic is that you can plan for your own race's decline and lead a new one into the future. A game of Small World of Warcraft can be finished in 40 to 80 minutes, and it supports from two to five players.

Days of Wonder worked with Blizzard to create a original artwork based on these characters, and the authenticity is clear to see in the early pictures of the game. Small World of Warcraft launches sometime this summer for $60/€60/£57.
