Alan Wake is 90% off starting tomorrow

Alan Wake and Alan Wake Collector's Edition will be available to purchase for 90% off starting tomorrow, May 14.

The news comes directly from Remedy Entertainment, which posted about the upcoming deals on its official Twitter account. You can check out the tweet below if you don't believe us.

Alan Wake and Alan Wake Collector's Edition will apparently be available for 90% off across all major platforms on PC, including Steam and the Epic Games Store. The deal is designed to run in conjunction with the game's 10-year-anniversary celebration. Although it begins tomorrow, no end date has been specified as of yet, so if you're keen to jump in for the first time or to finally upgrade to the Collector's Edition, it's best to get in early.

In related news, a silhouette of Alan Wake appeared on the cover of Altered World Events, Control's second expansion, back in September. This didn't come as much of a surprise, given that Remedy acquired publishing rights for Alan Wake last summer and even included an elaborate Easter egg in Control's base game.

Since attaining the rights to Alan Wake, Remedy boss Sam Lake has specifically said that he wants to make Alan Wake 2 - but only if things come together the way they're supposed to. However, Remedy's most recent project, Control, is still very much a Remedy game.

Remedy is currently hard at work on a multiplayer live service game as well as another, yet-to-be-announced project. Back in March, the company signed with Epic Games for a two-game deal, alongside other major developers such as Playdead and Gendesign, the latter of which is spearheaded by Fumito Ueda (Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian).

Control's most recent expansion, which launched on PS4 and PC in late March, is scheduled to come to Xbox One this June.
