Check out this kickass teaser for Cyberpunk 2077 fan film Phoenix Program

A new Cyberpunk 2077 fan film gets the nod from CD Projekt Red.

Cyberpunk 2077 has proven to be a source of inspiration for many in cosplay, writing and other forms of creative work. Some, however, have the means to create live-action films based on the game's world.

Vi-Dan Tran, a stunt coordinator and director whose credits include 6 Underground, Into the Badlands, and Marvel's upcoming Shang-Chi, put together a short teaser for a project he's been working on called Phoenix Program.

Phoenix Program is a fan film set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, and borrows many familiar characters and locations from the game. The teaser, in fact, has a very authentic Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves in the game). Ben Bergmann, the actor behind this version of the rebel rocker, is himself a CD Projekt Red fan, known for his Geralt of Rivia cosplay.

From the looks of it, Phoenix Program is very authentic to the particular look and visual style of the game. The teaser got a shout-out from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter over the weekend.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a while to see the full thing. Unsurprisingly, coronavirus has impacted the production of Phoenix Program, but you can definitely watch the teaser now.
