Evil Genius, the world domination sim, is free for a limited time.

In Evil Genius, you will build your own secret lair, train minions, and recruit henchmen to carry out missions. The goal is to take over the world.

Rebellion is giving away free copies of the game for Steam to celebrate the upcoming release of the sequel, Evil Genius 2.

In order to claim your free copy of the original game, you will need to make sure you have a Steam account and a Rebellion account. Once you have set up a Rebellion account, just link it to your Steam account to claim your free copy.

The game was originally released in 2004 and a sequel was in the works at Elixir Studios before it was shuttered in 2005 and Rebellion acquired the IP.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination is coming to PC this year.
