A new limited time event kicks off today for Rainbow Six Siege and it’s called The Grand Larceny.
Rainbow Six Siege players can participate in the limited time event The Grand Larceny from today through May 19.
You can expect a new game mode in an “elderly” British version of the Hereford map called The Stolen Goods.
It’s a 5v5 game mode inspired by the British mob of the 1920s. Most operators will be unlocked to play in this event, with a few exceptions.
The following operators won’t be available: Glaz, Nomad, Buck, Montagne, Blitz, Caveira, Kali, Clash, Blackbeard, Lion, IQ, Tachanka, Recruit, Twitch, and Mozzie.
Those that are available will only have a main shotgun equipped and it will be customized with weapons skins specific to The Grand Larceny Collection and the Roaring Riches Bundle.
The Stolen Goods game mode doesn’t feature a hostage, there will be no Area to Secure, and no Bombs to Defuse. You won’t even have a Preparation Phase, and will not have an Attacker’s drone on hand.
There will be Safeboxes spread throughout the map and Defenders will need to defend these. Defenders can also win rounds by taking out all opponents.
Attackers will need to open a specific amount of Safeboxes or eliminate all Defenders. You will be notified when where the Safeboxes are located, alongside “adjustments to flooring that will remove select metal beams after destruction.”
Available during this time will be The Grand Larceny Collection which introduced 31 items, featuring exclusive customization for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai, and Warden. These are the same items that can be found in-game by picking these Operators to play the Event.
The Grand Larceny pack can be obtained by competing Event Challenges, once per week, or for 300 R6 Credits or 12500 Renown each in the Packs section of the Home screen.
The Roaring Riches Bundle, which contains the Deco Artistry weapon skin and the Crafted Six charm, will also be available to acquire during this time.
