Ghost Recon Breakpoint's AI teammates not forgotten about, coming this summer

Ghost Recon Breakpoint's other missing, major feature is coming this summer.

Now that Ubisoft has delivered the promised design overhaul of Ghost Recon Breakpoint - which launched in the form of the Ghost Experience - the developer is moving on to another feature players have been asking for since Breakpoint was first announced.

That being, the addition of AI-controlled teammates, a staple in the Ghost Recon series. In a 2019 survey, over 50% of players said they wanted AI teammates to return, and Ubisoft pledged to bring the feature to the game someday.

Now, in a new blog post, the developer confirmed that AI teammates are coming to Breakpoint this summer. The game's second live event will also take place in the summer. The developer continues to work on Episode 3, which promises new story content as well as the next class.

In the more immediate term, Ubisoft will be releasing update 2.0.5 to take care of a few exploits and fix some bugs. The developers are also currently sorting through player feedback following the launch of the Ghost Experience.
