Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced is free to play for the next 5 days on Steam

For the next few days, Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced is free to play on Steam.

If you still haven't played the original Borderlands, or want to give it a go again, you can play the Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced version free for the next five days on Steam.

Released last spring for PC and consoles, the game is a 4K, remastered version of the original Borderlands. It features co-op and four-player split-screen co-op.

It also contains all previously released DLC, new weapons and quality of life improvements. These improvements include a Borderlands 2-style mini-map which can be toggled on or off. Improvements were also made to the inventory system, allowing you to lock weapons or mark them as junk. Ammo, money, and health will now auto-pick up from the ground.

If you like what you play during the free period, from now until April 20, the game is 67% at $9.90.
