Hunt: Showdown's 1.3 update adds new variants, weapons, and a playable redneck

Hunt: Showdown players are in for a treat with the latest major update.

Hunt: Showdown PC players should update their game to the latest version, 1.3, which adds all sorts of new content.

One thing you can expect is the new time of day, sunset, which will cast a bit of an eerie glow around the map.

There's also the new Blood Bonds Legendary Hunter, the Redneck. Who doesn't want to play as a redneck wearing bib-overalls with no shirt? He looks quite fun, honestly.

Alongside the new character is the new AI variant, Dr. Grunt, who carries a poisoned saw. If you get poisoned, don't worry, he drops a health kit upon death. Another new AI variant is the Concertina Armored, which is harder to melee but easier to shoot.

A new tool called Decoy Fuses will be available alongside a new trait for the shotgun called Levering. This is similar to hammering when using a pistol.

You can also expect two new legendary weapons: the Mote Juste, a Calvary Saber Riposte, and the Martin Henry rifle Long Hand. There's also a new weapon variant, the Mozen Nagant Obrez Drum. It's basically a really cool looking sawed-off, bolt-action rifle. Another weapon variant is the Martini-Henry Marksman, a breech-loading single-shot rifle.

And finally, in the weapon department, you can use the weapon rework, Avtomat which allows lever-action rifles to rapid-fire when aiming from the shoulder.
