Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments free on Epic Games Store, Just Cause 4 next week

The Epic Games Store is offering up Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments for free this week, and next week you can grab Just Cause 4 for nada.

This week, the Epic Games Store is offering two games for free: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments and Close to the Sun.

In Frogware's  Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, you will play as the renowned detective and use your talents to solve six cases involving murders, missing persons, thefts and some will lead you into the "realm of the fantastic."

The game offers the ability to conduct investigations in the manner you choose.

Close to the Sun is a first-person horror-adventure game set in 1897. In it, a ship "born of Telsa's vision," is stranded in international waters. Called the Helios, it is a "haven for the greatest scientific minds," and a utopia for research.

In the game, you play as a journalist named Rose Archer who is searching for her sister on the ship. You will soon discover not all is as it seems, as the ship stands empty with the "stench of rotting flesh" lingering in the and the world quarantine painted across the entrance to the ship. Creepy.

Next week, Avalanche's crazy fun action title Just Cause 4 will be free alongside the indie game, Wheels of Aurelia.

Last week's free games were Drawful 2, Gone Home, and Runic's Hob.
