Watch someone play Dark Souls 3 with a Ring Fit Adventure controller

What if instead of fighting a bodybuilding dragon, you used the Ring Fit Adventure controller to take on Dark Souls bosses?

Super Louis 64 is a name that should be familiar to anyone who likes to watch non-traditional game controllers used in unusual/unintended ways.

Super Louis 64 made a name for himself by figuring out how to re-purpose gimmick controllers like the DK Bongos to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and even beating Halo 3 using a Guitar Hero controller. Their latest invention is using the Ring Fit Adventure ring controller to play Dark Souls 3.

Dark Souls can be exhausting by default, so imagine having to exercise in the real-world to perform in-game actions. After some experimentation, Super Louis 64 settled on a functional, if not ideal setup. Moving is done by jogging, and running will get your character to dodge.

You attack by squeezing the ring, and squad to heal. You can already guess how more physically demanding things get. Highlights of Super Louis 64's stream constantly have him drenched in sweat.

He broke down the entire process in the video below, but you can watch the full adventure on Twitch.
