Animal Crossing: New Horizons update fixes your egg problems

There's a new Animal Crossing: New Horizons patch.

Update 1.1.4 has been released for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The two biggest changes in today's patch target how frequently eggs drop for players.

The rate of drops eggs has been lessened until April 11, and eggs will now generally be easier to collect on Easter on April 12. The English patch notes have yet to be published, but this information is based on the Japanese patch notes, as translated by @OatmealDome.

1.1.4 follows two recent updates released on Friday, which fix some general bugs. Read on below for today's full patch notes.

  • Fixes Flick not giving you the right model for the Platinum Kogane / Scarab Beetle.
  • Adjusts rate of drops for some eggs until April 11.
  • Eggs become easier to collect on Easter April 12.

We recently updated our Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide with new pages on crossbreeding flowers, and a list of all of the game's Special Villagers.

Our resource guides will also help you more efficiently find and gather what you need, such as this guide for fish and this one for bugs.
