Minecraft Dungeons coming to consoles and PC May 26

Minecraft Dungeons will be released to consoles and PC in May, Mojang announced today.

A release date of May 26 has been announced for Minecraft Dungeons on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.

The game was initially planned to be released by the end of April, but "due to the current state of the world," the team at Mojang wanted to "guarantee the health and safety" of its teams.

It will be made available in both standard and Hero editions.

The standard edition will run you $19.99 or the regional equivalent. The Hero Edition will set you back $29.99 and includes a Hero Pass that includes a Hero Cape, two-player skins, a chicken pet, and two upcoming DLC packs.

Minecraft Dungeons is now available for pre-order on select platforms. If you’re on Xbox Game Pass, you can pre-install the game on console or PC starting today.
