Horizon Zero Dawn supports ultra-wide on PC

We have our first confirmed detail of the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn.

Shortly after Horizon Zero Dawn was officially confirmed for PC, the game's Steam page popped up. Apart from confirming that the Frozen Wilds expansion would be included, the page brought us no new information.

That is until players noticed a suspiciously wide screenshot in the store page gallery. The screenshot has a resolution of 3440×1440, which is an ultra-wide resolution.

Adding further confirmation, one of the game's developers confirmed on the Steam forums that the PC version does indeed support ultra-wide resolutions.

"The first screenshot on the store page is taken from the PC port," community manager, Anne van der Zanden, wrote. Indeed, that is the only PC screenshot on the store page at this time. The rest bear the PS4 Pro watermark, and have a standard 16:9 resolution.

The PC version launches this summer, and we're meant to be getting a proper announcement from Guerrilla Games in the near future. Hopefully, it'll answer most of our questions about this unprecedented launch.
